“Images of Paris marks the first trilingual, international-standard photo album showcasing the iconic beauty of Paris.”

A bilateral agreement has been reached between the author and the publisher for the release of a groundbreaking new book. In this context, young photojournalist Farid Ahammad Rony has finalized the publishing contract for Images of Paris. This is the first international-standard photo album to feature iconic landmarks of the French capital with both photographs and descriptive narratives in three languages—Bangla, French, and English. The book offers a rich visual and cultural journey, serving as a unique bridge between cultures and capturing the essence of Paris through the lens of a Bangladeshi storyteller.

As the saying goes, “Everyone has seen the map of the world; but the world has seen him who has seen the whole world.” In keeping with that spirit, France has long been regarded as a land of imagery and poetry. The works of countless poets, writers, painters, and sculptors have so profoundly enriched the world’s artistic and literary heritage that art lovers and literary enthusiasts across the globe remember them with deep respect and admiration.

France, and particularly Paris, draws countless tourists throughout the year—pilgrims of art and literature—eager to experience this cultural treasure trove with their own eyes. Paris, the capital of France, is not only one of the world’s most beautiful and modern cities, but also a sacred space for history, tradition, education, culture, literature, art, and knowledge. It is rightly called the City of Love, the City of Poetry, the City of Art, and the City of Dreams.

Through the lens of Farid Ahammad Rony, the Images of Paris photo album vividly brings the soul of the city to life. His photography captures the essence of Paris in a way that transports readers to the very doorstep of history. Every page inspires the viewer to experience these scenes firsthand.

Travel enthusiasts from all over the world marvel at Paris’s legendary museums and iconic sculptures by celebrated French artists. The richness and diversity of this artistic heritage are beautifully reflected in the pages of this trilingual photo album. The publication of the book has been made possible with the generous support of Kazi Enayet Ullah, Secretary General of the All European Bangladesh Association (AEBA).

According to the author, this book is more than a collection of images—it is a guide. With it in hand, one can walk the streets of Paris alone and confidently, without the need for a guide. To own Images of Paris is to possess the keys to the city itself.

The book is available for viewing at the Alliance Française de Dhaka and the French Embassy in Bangladesh.

Farid Ahammad Rony is not only a photojournalist—he is an established name in the European media landscape. His work has gained wide recognition through the publication of books and contributions to various newspapers, further solidifying his reputation as a respected voice in photojournalism.
